A Fine Old Papua New Guinea Woven & Cassowary Feathers Head Ornament Oceanic Art. Weaving and feathers are in sound condition in original in every way. 38CM across (excluding strings) about 38mm high.

Ex Baptist Mission Society Collection, Flinders Street, Adelaide, South Australia. Missionaries would bring thing back and add to the collection. Nothing was added to after about 1960 when the collection was put into storage. I'd say quite an early collection date for these.
