A superb old Middle Sepik Mwei Spirit Mask New Guinea shell inlays & boar tusks

Superb Large old Mwei Mask New Guinea with shell inlays and boar tusks - collected in the late 1950's early 1960's. Some sections of the clay have cracked and there is a small section off the underside of the bird firgure at the bottom.

Some of the human hair is missing and a few of the shell are gone. Overall this superior example is in very good and excellent display condition. I will have this professionally packed. Please look at the images as they form an important part of the description and will give you a good idea of condition.
