Authentic Large Wooden Carved Kamoro Tribe Papua New Guinea Wall Figure. The Kamoro are a seminomadic tribe who inhabit the southern coast of Papua. The Kamoro tribe community, numbering approximately 18,000 people, is spread across around 45 villages.

Mbitoro is a sacred object that represents the ancestors of the Kamoro people. It is made for funerary feasts and initiation rituals to honor the dead and ask for their protection and guidance.
