Genuine Papua New Guinea Tribal Bow & Arrow Set Highly Decorated, Great Colors, Intricate Arrow Tips. Up for sell is a genuine Papua New Guinea tribal bow and arrow set from the 1940s/1950s.

This set is complete with one bow and five arrows, and as seen in the photos is in excellent condition for its age. The bow, as well as the arrow tips, are made of black palm and the arrow shafts are bamboo.

The bow measures 4 feet 6 ¾ inches and the arrows measure 3 feet in length. Unlike the traditional tribal bow and arrows typically seen from Papua New Guinea, this set is highly decorated with pink, green, yellow, and white stringing, as well as pink, white, and brown feathering.

The arrow tips were intricately crafted from black palm wood and bone and are decorated in the same fashion as the bow. Each arrow in this set has a different tip design specifically made for different purposes, such as hunting, fishing, battle, etc. The bamboo ties also come with this sell.
