Lime gourds were generally used to store lime which was used in the consumption of Betel Nuts. Betel Nuts were chewed for their warming glow and stimulating properties.

Made from hollowed out gourd and hand painted, 2 of these retain woven band around the top. Size: a 21 cm (length) 8 cm (diam).

B 15 cm (length) 10.5 cm (diam). C 21 cm (height) 11.5 cm (diam). Weight: a 66 grams b 48 grams c 58 grams.
