Belle patine d'usage pour ce tambour à main ou "Kundu" collecté dans la région des Blackwater en Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée. Instrument traditionnel décoré de dessins tribaux gravés et de coquillages de type cauris. Les tambours à mains ou "kundus", très symboliques pour les papous car symbolisant les voix des ancêtres, sont des objets difficiles à acquérir... Bois, pigments naturels, fils et caoutchouc de récupération, coquillages. Manque en partie basse visible sur les photos. Photo de terrain de David Godreuil. The hand drums or "kundus", very symbolic for the Papuans because they symbolize the voices of the ancestors, are objects that are difficult to acquire... Wood, natural pigments, recycled threads and rubber, shells. Lack in the lower part visible in the photos.
