Impressive Vintage Tribal Shell Necklace Neck Piece Papua New Guinea Warrior PNG

This fabulous, big neck piece is made of hundreds of shells and appears to be in very good condition. The circumference is approximately 96cm. It's an old one, brought back from Australia about 70 years ago and I don't know if it was new or old then.
