Large Papua New Guinea'Spirit Figure', 52cm Tall

Hand carved Spirit Figure from Papua New Guinea. Decorated with ochre, pigments, natural fibre to neck, wrists, waist and ankles, and with shells for eyes. Measures 52cm in height on 14cm base. Very good aged condition, a few surface cracks but no damage or chips.
