Old Kwoma clay pot, ceramic, oceanic tribal art, papua new guinea

This fabulous Kwoma clay pot is in excellent condition, beautifully incised and sculpted. There is one hairline crack, please refer to picture #8. The inside of the bowl has a nice patina from use, the edge is a bit rough. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter, about 5 inches deep at the deepest point. The piece is beautifully balances despite its cone shape, relatively lightweight, both signs of great craftsmanship. Feel free to send your questions.
