Collected in the 1960's this old wave splitter comes from the Massim Culture who live in South-East New Guinea. Collected by a couple sailing the Pacific it is finely carved and has remains of the black encrusted pigment. It is in great condition for it's age and measures 83cm in length and 64cm in height.
