This uncirculated 2 Papua New Guinean kina note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea from 1989 to 1991. It is a green note that bear the signatures of Henry ToRobert and Morea Vele and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms of Papua New Guinea-a bird of paradise perched on a Kundu drum and a ceremonial spear.

Its reverse side shows a Mount Hagan axe, a Kula arm band from the Milne Bay Province, an engraved dogs' tooth necklace from Bougainville, and a Sepik clay pot. Security features include a solid security thread and a bank logo watermark.

The note was demonetized in 2013.
