This wood ladle/dipper is attached to the handle with fiber and used in ceremonial rituals with women and rights of passage. The ladle/dipper has deep incised carving and relief work with ceremonial clan symbols. This ladle/dipper is considered a very valuable item and is handed down through generations, of mother to daughter.
