This listing is for a superb vintage hanging dream vehicle boar figure. Woven from rattan and hand spun plant fibre string by the people in the homeland of the Latmul people along the middle course of the Sepik river in the Papua New Guinea. Decorated with cowrie shells, and painted with traditional pigments; this hanging figure, which does not stand, is gently used. It measures 12" long x 5" high.
