The colourful bag is a typical design from the Muruk people. The design is unique and all the materials used are natural. The front has multi coloured bark tassels with a floral Center piece.

The back has natural intricate weave and linear tribal markings making this basket carrier a very interesting and unique bag. Hand woven bags are not just bags but artistic expression which are clan markings and identifying objects of your clan and people. These are not just for practical use but also worn as body adornment that are showcased by the tribes in traditional ceremonies known as singsing and it is also used as trading commodities in bride price and other special ceremonies. The bag measures 9x 8.5 inches with a long 25 inch strap.
