Papua New Guinea Sepik Small Figure. Mid 20th cent

This is quite a unique and little Sepik figure from the mid-20th cent....... Probably a barely used betel nut mortar; a pigment dish... Really nice looking mini sculpture....

A robust and stocky little fellow with an oval bowl on its head. Mounted on a metal stand. Measures approx 5 inches in height.
