Flûte traditionnelle en bambou collectée dans le village de Kamanibit dans la vallée du fleuve Sépik, région nord de la Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée. Les flûtes sacrées, encore largement utilisées, sont jouées pendant les cérémonies d'initiation. On considère qu'elles sont les voix des ancêtres du clan. Le bouchon, amovible, représente un ancêtre surmonté d'un oiseau. Ce bouchon sert également à suspendre la flûte dans le faîtage de la case lorsqu'elle ne "chante" pas.
