This is for a Sepik River mask/effigy. Hand carved, with traditional tribal details and patterns. A cultural artifact, made for export, MCM era, in brown color, solid hardwood.
It is 9" tall and 3 1/2" wide. And is about 2 deep, with a clean flat back and perforated hanging hole. This came from the same estate sale as my other listing for a Pacific Islands kava bowl.
Any questions, let me know.
