Sepik River Papua New Guinea Carved Canoe Prow, 15 inch on metal stand

Sepik River Papua New Guinea Carved Canoe Prow, 15" L, 7" W, 7 H on metal stand. This Prow has a unique bird like carving on top of the crocodile head. Canoe Prows are from the front end of a carved canoe. These are cut from no longer used boats. These are carved not for tourist but for them so these are unique original carvings.

This piece has a custom metal base to give it a firm platform to display from. All of the pieces we sell were collected by Ron Perry.
