This is female figure interwined with two birds on her shoulders, and has a small crocodile on the back. It is a hand carved Papua New New Guinea Suspension hook form the Iatmul People, from the Sepik River.

It is made of wood, that appears to be painted or stained a darker color. Measurements: 26 x 8 x 2. Weight: 1 lbs 4 0unces. Condition: Good condition, some scuffing, cracks and losses commensurate with age and use. All items for sale are vintage or antique and it may show evidence of wear.
